I believe a big component of therapy is building a relationship rooted in trust and non-judgement. I aim to provide a safe place for you to explore stressors in your life causing distress. I take a collaborative stance and will work with you to achieve your goals.
I graduated from Radford University in 2019 with a Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I have experience in working with college students at Radford University’s Counseling Center. Additionally, I have held positions as a therapeutic day treatment provider and intensive in-home clinician. In these settings, I have worked with children, adolescents, and families.
I am experienced in working with and providing support for presenting symptoms including: depression, anxiety, suicidal and self-harming behaviors, anger, parenting issues, ADHD, and trauma. I operate primarily from a client-centered perspective and utilize ideals and techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, art-based therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
